AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION ACLS PROVIDER RENEWAL
The ACLS Renewal course provides healthcare professionals who are interested in participating in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies an opportunity to build on the foundation of basic lifesaving BLS skills emphasizing the importance of continuous, high-quality CPR. The course highlights the importance of high-performance team dynamics and communication, systems of care, recognition and intervention of cardiopulmonary arrest, immediate post-cardiac arrest, acute dysrhythmia, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes (ACS).
ACLS RENEWAL WITH HCL
Participants can add the BLS course to their ACLS class at registration as a combo.
ACLS RENEWAL COURSE INFORMATION
A current (2020) ACLS Textbook is required. Participants must have access to the textbook before, during, and after class.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive an ACLS provider card.
ACLS RENEWAL CLASS REQUIREMENTS
To qualify for the certification class participants MUST complete the ACLS Pre-course requirements before joining the class.
