AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION ACLS PROVIDER
The ACLS course provides healthcare professionals who are interested in participating in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies an opportunity to build on the foundation of basic lifesaving BLS skills emphasizing the importance of continuous, high-quality CPR. The course highlights the importance of high-performance team dynamics and communication, systems of care, recognition and intervention of cardiopulmonary arrest, immediate post-cardiac arrest, acute dysrhythmia, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes (ACS).
ACLS CERTIFICATION WITH HCL
Participants with a current BLS provider card do have the option to add the BLS course to your class at time of registration.
ACLS CERTIFICATION COURSE INFORMATION
A current (2020) ACLS Textbook is required. Participants are required to have access to the textbook before, during, and after class.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive ACLS provider card.
ACLS CERTIFICATION CLASS REQUIREMENTS
To qualify for the certification class participants MUST complete the ACLS Pre-course requirements before joining the class.
