AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION PALS INSTRUCTOR COURSE
The PALS Instructor course is for candidates interested in teaching the management of pediatric emergencies, including infants and children with respiratory arrest, shock, abnormal heart rhythms, and cardiac arrest. This course will prepare the instructor candidate to teach AHA instructor-led and blended-learning course formats and adequately use instructor teaching materials, in compliance with AHA Lesson Plans.
PALS INSTRUCTOR WITH HCL
The candidate who has completed the PALS Provider course and is proficient with the skills has the option to take this class.
PALS INSTRUCTOR COURSE INFORMATION
A current (2020) PALS Instructor Manual is required. Participants must have access to the manual before, during, and after the class.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Participants who complete the Instructor course and are monitored successfully will receive a PALS instructor card.
PALS INSTRUCTOR COURSE REQUIREMENTS
The PALS instructor MUST meet specific requirements before taking the course.
